Description
The forest doesn’t just grow it moves. And only one boy can keep it from wandering off the map entirely.
Twelve-year-old Finn thought he was just inheriting a dusty title and a coat with too many pockets. But when he is handed the Key of Creaking Bark, he becomes the new Warden of the Wandering Woods a sprawling, magical labyrinth that changes its paths every time you blink.
In a world where trees walk at midnight and gravity is merely a suggestion, Finn’s job is to maintain the balance. But a silent, colorless rot known as the Gray Moss is spreading, eating away at the forest’s memories and threatening to turn the vibrant magic into a hollow silence.
Accompanied by Sly, a cynical Silver Fox with a tail made of stardust, Finn must journey to the very center of the timber: The Heartwood. Along the way, he will have to:
- Navigate the Whisper-Thicket, where the trees speak in the voices of those he loves.
- Trade modern riddles with ancient, grumpy River-Stones.
- Scale the Great Moss-Wall using only the power of forgotten stories.
As the woods begin to flee toward the edge of the world, Finn realizes that being a Warden isn’t just about guarding the trees it’s about finding the courage to write the forest’s next chapter. If he fails, the magic won’t just wander; it will vanish forever.
