England were unspectacular but did enough to see off minnows Andorra as they picked up a 2-0 win on Saturday.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were only able to scrape past the nation ranked 174th in the world by FIFA when the two teams met back in June.
At Villa Park the Three Lions once again struggled to make good on their possession but ultimately secured all three points in the World Cup qualifier.
The hosts opened the scoring in the first half when Christian Garcia headed Noni Madueke’s cross into his own net.
Declan Rice doubled England’s advantage in the after the interval as the Arsenal star headed home from a Reece James cross.

What do you say? Nothing to do. Couldn’t even attempt to truly break the lines with the ball because Andorra didn’t pressurise the England back line.
Reece James – 7
Moved the ball quickly from right back without being challenged in a defensive sense. Tried to buccaneer forward and a wicked cross for Declan Rice’s header.
Marc Guehi – 7
Smart use of the ball for the opening goal and certainly progressive when building from the back. Looked in control when Andorra countered.
Dan Burn – 6
Andorra allowed the left-sided central defender to have the ball. Didn’t move it with as much purpose as Guehi and wasn’t utilised enough at set pieces.
Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6
Looks a little bit rusty after just a couple of substitute appearances for Arsenal so far this season. Had the chance to regularly unlock Andorra’s right side.

Eventually justified the idea that England need him further forward by popping up at the back post to head in the second. Had been quite quiet until then.

The opposition act as a significant caveat but a very assured display. Plays the way he’s facing and keeps things simple through the thirds.
Noni Madueke – 7
Always lively and always in the game. End product can be hit and miss but does constantly keep going back for more. Dangerous cross for the opener.
Eberechi Eze – 6
Barely touched the ball all game but managed to find two pockets of space for a couple of big chances. Probably should’ve scored.
Marcus Rashford – 6
Electric first few minutes when he relentlessly attacked his marker, then flitted in and out of the game. Appeared sharper before then coming off.

Occupied defenders and fed off scraps. Only registered 10 touches in the opening 70 minutes. Did his best work on rare occasion he dropped deep.
